Your Future
Your Firm
Like other businesses across Indiana, we continue to monitor community and public health concerns associated with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). While this global pandemic has impacted the way law firms must serve their existing and potential clients, Indiana has recognized the practice of law as an essential business and allowed for continued in-office operations when necessary. We are currently working primarily from our home offices and connecting with our clients, experts, opposing counsel, mediators, and courts telephonically and virtually through applications such as Zoom, Skype and Google Hangouts.
Even before COVID-19, we have employed a wide variety of technology allowing us to work remotely, so we are accustomed and welcome these new-normal methods of work and communication. Though we would prefer to meet with you in person under different circumstances, we are able to continue to service our existing clients, review new cases, and undertake new representation remotely.
Below are answers to some frequently asked questions, and feel free to reach out to us via our contact form or by calling (844) 268-7775 for assistance with your existing or potential legal matter.
Our office meetings have always been by appointment only, so nothing has changed in that regard. Our office is currently open for business operations on an as-needed basis, but we are not meeting with existing and potential clients in-person at our offices at this time. We continue to respond to client inquiries and are available for free injury, death, and medical malpractice phone consultations. If you have documents you need to get to us to help us review your potential case, we can make appropriate arrangements to obtain these if you are unable to share them electronically.
You can contact us by phone at (844) 268-7775. Your call will be answered by a live representative 7 am – 7 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to 7 pm on Saturday and Sunday. You can also contact us through our website intake service or by filling out our contact form. We strive to respond to all new case inquiries within twenty (24) hours, but are often able to respond much quicker.
We primarily utilize Zoom to chat with our clients if necessary, but we are comfortable using other platforms such as Skype and Google Hangouts.
Yes, we continue to actively review new personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice matters. Our phones are staffed for an extended period before and after normal business hours and you can contact us remotely via our website contact form and intake service.
If we choose to investigate or take your case, we will work with you to communicate via your preferred method, whether it is phone, email, or text.
Indiana courts are coordinating their operations with other state officials. Court status continues to change. On April 24, 2020, the Indiana Supreme Court has ordered any trials set through June 1, 2020 be continued. On April 24, 2020, the Kentucky Supreme Court ordered all trials vacated and scheduled for a later date. It is likely that these orders will continue to change. The latest court orders can be found at the links below.
We are working with opposing counsel, mediators, and adjusters remotely to keep currently scheduled matters on the calendar. We are also adapting as needed to handle previously scheduled in-person matters remotely.
